Yes there really are baths in Bath. It all started with this hot spring which the Romans redirected at the end of the first century, AD. The brass railing was added a lot later.
Then, they set to work on expanding and decorating. Here is an example of the architecture.
A few blocks from the above site, we found the headquarters for the union that did the renovations in the 1800's.
